I have read all the great info on this forum on winterizing and I have serviced everything as instructed i.e. fuel filters, engine oil, fuel treatment, gear oil; drained water from block (2 drain plugs) after thermostat had opened. I have never had to winterize coming from the deep south so this is my first time. I understand that air can?t freeze but I succumbed to pressure from other boaters in the area and I poured the pink antifreeze in, I removed the thermostat and added it until I saw pink antifreeze at the bottom of the housing. I also poured it in until I had antifreeze coming out of the exhaust drain plug. So my question by added the antifreeze the way I did the odds that I have an engine full of pink antifreeze is good? I maybe just panicking and have nothing to worry about or do I just go out and drain it out and go with the theory air doesn?t freeze. I know this is stupid just want to sleep at night, and also want to hear what people think?.

Air doesn't freeze... :D

Seriously, if you are certain that the majority of the water has been drained out of the engine, adding the pink stuff till she puked was above and beyond what it takes for her to survive a winter. Rest easy..... ;)
