I have an I/O boat with and outdrive and know how to winterize it. I might buy a large boat with twin engine and the shaft/prop set up. What would I have to do to it simply to get it through the winter without cracking the engines? Thanks for any help.

Howdy,

The same thing you would do with any other boat (x2)........If you have velvet drives or other drives with oil coolers and/or other cooling systems, they'll need to be drained also.... EVERYWHERE THERE"S RAW WATER, it MUST BE DRAINED.

Don't forget the freshwater wash-down system or potable water system if installed and the head too!

Regards,

Rick
