I am as cheap has the next guy but I am pretty mechanical and have always done most of my own repairs on every toy that I have owned. It is just about time to get the boat out of the lake for the season the boat has a outboard which is no big deal to get that ready for winter but my question is since this is my first boat with a live well, bait tank and raw water wash down is there anything I have to do with those options before getting it wrapped for the long Canadian winter?

Thanks figured that was all I had to do just bought the boat this year and had to change the raw wash down pump when I first put it in the lake and was just thinking maybe that was caused from improper storage the year before.

You could use compressed air to purge the lines and make sure all of your plugs are out.

I normal pour a gallon of the pink stuff in the live well so it drains back through the system just because.

I make sure the live well is drained. All the hoses and pumps are self draining so its no big deal. I thought for sure I would have busted lines after last years 10 month winter but I found everything as it should be in June.

Leave the plugs out. Any water that enters the boat will be able to drain.

Most things drain well. If you have it on a trailer you can just drive around a bit with everything open. Some corners and hills up and down should slosh out everything that might sit in a low spot. If it was built correctly in should al be dry.
