winterizing?

bought an '85 Johnson 30 HP, used it once then parked the boat in the garage. Can I just leave it like this until next spring or is there a process I need to carry out prior to storage?<br /><br />thanks in advance!

motes if you go and do a search on winterizing you will find lots of posts on the winterizing topic and yes you should prep the motor for storage
