upon checking this old motor out i found out that some of the wires was brittle and eat up with acid... most of them i can get to really easy to replace.. but one is goin to be kinda hard i think... its the wire that runs from the coil to under the flywheel... i took the nut and washer off of the flywheel but it would not come off... how do i pull it off? also is there anything to warn me about underneath it? like parts or springs goin to fly everywhere when i pull it off or is it safe for me to take it off and replace the wires and then put it back on?... also can i use regular 10 to 12 gauge wire to wire it or is there a special wire i need to get for it?
