wiring diagram

Hi all this is my first time here and seem to have a popular question. i enharited this boat from family, and just getting started. the power trim does not work and the three wires are just laying there, there is a trim switch on the dash but the gauge of the wire is so large i cant see it going to just a toggle switch. what am i missing. any help would be appreicated thanks buckshott

We are going to need a bit more info.

Year, make, model, outboard or o/i, horsepower?

Generally, trim systems use a switch to power a pair of relays, which switches and carries the heavy power load.

Hi all sorry for the first time jitters the boat is a bayliner capri with a 125 hp force (1251x86b) there is a switch on the dash motor lift. but no relays anywere so im kinda in the dark as to what feeds what.

Pictures of your references always help. Please show as much as possible to your questions.

1. Under reply, sel advance reply
2. Use the paper clip icon to add Pic attachments files
3. Show where the files are on your computer
4. Files not over a meg under Window?s/properties and up to 5 IMO
5. Select files, done when finished
6. Preview will show what you will submit

I feel you will see your way from there or ask questions or someone will list better instructions.
