wiring for old mercruiser throttle

I'm rewiring an old Mercruiser sterndrive boat. I've done the main engine harness and all of the lights, but I've just noticed a pair of wires coming down from the throttle that I've left hanging. Where do I terminate them, and what do they do? I found this related wiring diagram (attached link), and I believe they are the wires label as (g). Do I just run this over to the instrument panel with one to +12V and the other to ground?

"G" yellow/red are a "cant start in gear" feature where the control box must be in neutral to crank the engine or to crank the engine in throttle only position

As BT said, 'start in gear' protection. They get connected in series with 'START' wire (yellow/red) from the key switch. They are the ends of a normally open switch. When the shift is in neutral, the switch is closed and allows you to crank the engine. In either forward or reverse, the switch is open, no cranking...
