Put a new engine in my 22' Bell-boy and now I'm looking for BOTH parts of the wiring harness. The section that goes from the plug to all of the engine components and the long section that goes from the engine, through the throttle and shift handle to the instrument cluster. Everything I'm finding is either no longer available or for outboards.

The old wiring is in pretty bad shape and needs to be replaced. The current set up is a 9 pin. Does that matter if I replace both sides? Are 9 pins still available? And, finally, I have found some that say "for fused engine" or "for non-fused engines". these are terms I'm not familiar with. Does anyone know what they mean? (the fused engine parts appear to be less expensive).

Does anyone have advice or a contact where the proper harness and run can be located? Even a part number would be helpful.

The years you specify covers the change from points to Thunderbolt IV electrcinic ignition. Which do you have? Fused and non-fused refer to a 90A fusible link at the starter motor main power cable connection. Do you have a small white box, about an 1" by 1"? If you do, that's fused. If the battery lead bolts directly to the starter power stud, that's non-fused.
