I have a 1988 Evinrude 40Hp twin. Which connector in key switch can be used to get power to light, instruments, ect. What is the 3 pin amphenol plug below the key switch for ? Its a 1989 remote without system check.
Use the purple to power the instruments (NOT purple with white stripe). What color wires go to the amphenol?? I'm thinking it's a tach harness???<br /><br />-John
The purple wire power for the tach, the grey wire is tach signal, the black wire is a ground lead. There is also a male plug aviable to connect this output to the tach. at the dash or you can make up your own.
