wiring primer solenoid

I have an 86 Johnson 30HP. I need someone to explain where the wires go to connect the Primer solenoid. A picture or a wiring diagram would work also.

The primer only has 2 wires. A 12 volt lead and ground. The 12 volts (Purple/white stripe) comes from the ignition switch "C" terminal and the ground is to the engine block. Not sure if this is what you're after...

Thanks for the help. There is the purple and ground on the solenoid and another purple wire coming from the motor. I just dont know exactly where they connect onto the motor.
