wiring problems .

hi everyone ,i just installed a new wiring kit on the used trailor i bought . well the left turn signal works good , the right turn signal works good ,but when i put on the running lights on the right signal light wont work . i have checked everything over . any ideas ? thanks

Double check the grounds.Be sure the trailer has the white wire to ground as well as the tow vehicle end.
It sounds like it is using the hitch ball as the ground.

Get a cheap volt meter or test light and trace down the power. Or run a wire from the left side to the right. Check all your grounds again. Put some elect greese in the terminals and over all conections.

One word : Ground. Check it where the lights bolt to the frame. If the frame or bracket is painted, you won't get a good ground. Use sandpaper, file, Dremel, whatever, to get shiny metal to metal contact. Same thing at the plug ground. If you have a tilt trailer, you may have to run another wire from light ground to the plug ground.

And make sure the bulbs are in the sockets good.

thanks everyone , i have the ground wire attached to the trailor coupler where it was before . i will move the wire to the trailor frame and see if that helps ..
