Wiring question 1976 Evinrude V4 115

Hi everyone. Got this 1976 Evinrude 115 not long ago. Great shape. Was trolling yesterday and the overheat alarm sounded. Ive completely gone threw cooling system. I was looking at the wiring and found two just dangling below the wiring harness up top. It is two purple wires that look to go into the block. Top right corner of the power head.

Purple with a yellow stripe ?------Left over wire from when the thermo- electric choke was bypassed.---Do not worry about them.

I really wish I could post a picture. But it says they are too big.
If facing motor from rear. The lug for picking up the motor on top. Directly below and right of this lug Two wires. I see purple, but the wires are encased. These two wires go directly down into a recessed round hole.

I see the wire your talking about running from choke. Too the buss bar. These two wires run too the same buss bar. They have two female ends for putting on post.

I have stated that these wires were for the thermo-electric choke system.------A service bullletin came out to bypass that system.----Disregard those wires !
