Re: wiring question

Use a power distribution bar. Your vessel is on the small side but they are very common. There are several different manufacturers or make it yourself with 8” of electrical copper bar and stainless steel bolts/screws. Here is one:

http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...ategory=electric>distribute&*******=987487640

Normally, there is one for each battery bank (+) and one large one that joins all the battery grounds (-) and all ground conductors . You can use a single, small one for joining just the grounds and have a single conductor going back to the battery. Except for the smallest of boats, the battery(s) should have only a single conductor to each terminal. In reality, people will not hesitate to connect everything directly to the battery.

Re: wiring question

I have a MinnKota 55# thrust and the instructions call for a 50 amp manual reset fuse. Cabella's sells them for around 35.00. Deal wanted 68.00
