Wiring Question

I have a '84 Grady White Offshore 241. (Mercruiser I/O)
I am in the process of replacing the fuse panel.
My question is regarding the fuse panel.
I can't see where the wire to power the ignition switch is coming from.
There looks like a 20A fuse under the dash located near the key switch.
The boat is an '84 so the wiring is less than clean.

So..........how much current is drawn by the ignition switch?
Would a 20A fuse be required?

I wouldn't expect that your fusepanel is feeding the ignition circuit. Are you sure that the fuse is not actually feeding instruments, gas gauge and dash lights, etc from the switch? Typically, engine circuits are provided by the engine manufacturer and the boat's circuits are provided independently by the boat manufacturer on a separate system entirely. - Grandad

I wasn't suggesting the ignition circuit power was supplied by the fuse panel.
There was a self contained 20A fuse, I was wondering if it was for the ignition.

In any case.....project completed, all is well.
Thanks for the response.

Fun times, is it possible it's a breaker?
Should've taken a pic!
That's more to do with the boat boat manufacturer. 50/50 if it's a fuse or breaker. Older is usually fuse new usually = breaker.
