Wiring Uniforce Livewll Timer?

Can anyone give me some help on wiring a Uniforce Livewell timer? I have three wires, red, black, and brown. I assume red is 12V+, brown is 12v+ on the pump , and black is 12V- to pump and battery. Is this correct? Tried getting ahold of Uniforce but apparently they don't answer their phone. Thanks!

No -- you are not correct. The black wire on the timer connects to ground -- it doesn't go anywhere near the pump. The ground wire on the pump also goes to ground. The red wire on the timer goes to a +12 volt source on the fuse or circuit breaker panel. The brown wire on the timer connects to the brown wire on the pump.
