Won't start after Winterization

I am a first time boat owner and have only owned my boat since last summer. It ran great last summer, but after trying to awaken it from winterization it will not start. I pulled the fuel filter and there is no fuel in filter. I'm not even sure where to begin diagnosing my problem. I can find shop manuals for 5.0 GL (A-E). I see no mention of F.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... Is the gas in the tank,..?? How much,..?? was it stabilized last year,..??

If you pre-fill the fuel filter, 'n run another piece of fuel hose to a gas can near it, the fuel pump should pickup the gas, 'n it should Start,.....
You can diagnose from there,.....

The gas tank was filled prior to winter and stabilized. I will pre fill the filter and run to a gas can and see what happens. Thanks in advance for your help!

It was winterized by a local Marina. I live in Pennsylvania. So I filled the filter with fuel and then pulled and put back in fuses and relays associated with the fuel system to see if I saw any damage. I decided to give it a shot at starting before i pulled the fuel line to try fueling from a portable gas tank. Shockingly, it instantly started. Not sure what the problem was but I hope it doesn't come back... Thanks!
