won't start nothing happens

I have a 88 sea ray with a 4.3 merc, nothing happens when I try to start it starter does nothing ign switch is good I tested it any ideas? Thanks in advance

make sure you have power to the solenoid. Jump the post with a srewdriver if still nothing then the starter is most likly the culprit.
