Hi everyone i am new tot his site but i have a question.. I would like to know if anyone could help me with my motor wiring. I have a 1978 35 hp evinrude outboard with electric start and i can not figure out why the ignition will not work now. When i first got it it would just click on the solinoid when you turned the key and it would blow fuses and so we switched the solinoid and re wired the fuse set up because the wiring was really brittal and falling apart but we didnt do it the same way it was we wired it a little different and i am wanting to know what the order for the ignition wiring is and also if someone know if i have to put the fuse system back the way it was or if it could be something else since now turning the ignition does nothing now but blow fuses but if you cross jump the solinoid the motor will start.
