Out of 4 stringers, the two center stringers need replaced. Starting fore of the motor box, the stringers are 1"x10 1/2"x12' then they narrow down as they reach the keel. The factory used pine boards and shaved them down as necessary, but I'm having problems finding 1x12's. Should I just grab a few sheets of 1/2" plywood and rip them as needed?

Hello m8..

Yup..you use Marine ply..or diy marine ( Ply treated with resin .. poly is fine ).

Starting out with 3/4" ply and build 1/4 glass should get you near what OEM had. ( unless im missing something.. pics ? ).

A "1 X" is actually 3/4" so you should go that route with ply and it'll be far stronger than the original piece. You will have to scab a couple of pieces to get your 12' .
