WooHoo!!! finally took my pontoon boat out today and maybr going back again Saturday!

We'll everybody I finally was able to take out my pontoon boat today. Ah, what a feeling, smelling the smell of a 2-stroke engine and the weather was absolutely beautiful today but got sunburned, but all well worth it today. We had so much fun today that we are thinking about going out again tomorrow, Sunday.

Thats what they are for, I got out friday fishing, also resemble a lobster, when will we learn, and got out last night with the wife fishing.

There is no place like the water, get out there.

Yeap, got out there again today, boy, one of these days I will learn not to burn, but what the heck, I love pontoon boating too much to stay home. Even thinking about going out in the boat tomorrow on Memorial Day. Yeap, I think I am addicted to that 2-stroke smell, lol.

Me and the wife went to a real small lake about 45 minutes from the house and what a circus, it is a small launch with maybe 20 parking spots.

There were 5 people sitting there with boats on the trailers and 3 in the road waiting to get in and much to my suprise, an amish buggy with a trailer and jon boat on it, never seen that one before, how on earth do you back a horse and buggy down a ramp????

But that is all part of it and we had a great time once we got out.

i would have stayed to watch the Amish Buggy with Horse back the boat down in the water. That would have been a treat, LOL.

My wife and I were resting on a bench at the big intersection at Shipshewana last year when an Amish buggy came by with a bass boat behind it and we didn't even get any pictures.

We are burned up so badly and look like lobsters and are worn out from so much lake that we decided to stay home and recuperate and we just put the pontoon boat away and covered her back up. Maybe in a couple of weeks we will get back out again.

yeap, we had tons of fun and I couldn't ask for the 70 horse
Johnson outboard to run any better than she ran. It ran smooth as silk and did not hiccup once on me, it is like a brand new motor but it is a 1983 year outboard. Very happy.

I had a old 1968 V 4 85 HP johnson that was the best running motor I have ever owned right up to a nasty log strike back in 99 that killed it. Age dosnt mean that much its how its cared for.

I agree. I take very good care of my 1983, 70 horse Johnson, just like I do with my kids and that outboard, if I never sell her, will probably outlive me, LOL.
