Sorry for the outburst but I'm just very excited. I finally started/landed a good job after going to school for so long and several hundred resumes and working as a security officer for 2 years. I'm back to making a decent living.....

Excellent! Good for you..! Hope it works out to be something you enjoy doing.

When I was young, in western Pennsylvania, a "good job" was like gold - rare and valuable. Now I find this to be the case almost everywhere.

well where i am their is a shortage of tradesman since the recession
trades are where good money is but you have to stay away from residential

Thanks for all the positive replies.
I am Director of facility maintenance for a small 92 bed hospital TPEnffield.
I love trouble shooting and repairing things and have done it my whole life, but I have so much paperwork for compliance that I'm surprised I can get anything else done.

LOL yeah I'll be 47 on my next and have had a few rough patches but I'm still walking. Although my doctor wondered how I was even talking after my last incident

We need tax payers here in the US, how else will we ever pay for everyone else not working!! Congrats on the job!!!

I'm a head hunter and the IT market is going really good if you have experience. I love finding people new jobs, new careers. Hope your job is everything you want and then some.
