I found a fuel pump locally for my 9.5 Evinrude and put it on last night. Took it out this morning and she runs like a scalded dog! I was wondering if I could put some Berryman's B-12 Chemtool in the fuel tank? What is a good product to run through it to clean the entire inside, talking about Carb, Reeds, Combustion chamber?

Nathan,

Great!! :) Johnson-Evinrude have fuel conditioners that will help clean the innards. They may be now under the Bombardier brand. 2+4 fuel conditioner comes to mind.

That's good news I'm glad to hear it runs good. I don't know much about Berryman B-12, except it tries to eat everything it comes in contact with, this includes all of the rubber hoses, fuel filter and that new fuel pump if it has any rubber parts. I'm not an expert, but I would be carefull with the B-12.

I dont have any problems.. I use B12 in all my boats and cars for years. No problems and it works very well. Never had it "eat" fuel lines or diaphrams. Mix per directions.
