Did the taxes tonight. Yeaaaaa, got a refund.<br />WU is happy. We can fence our back yard now to let tthe 2 dogs out to run. Fun stuff for the boat maybe????

I could theoretically do mine, but if my company is consistent, I won't get my W-2 until jan 31.

Have the w2's, prop tax receipts, IRA statement. Am waiting on a couple 1099's though. Derned heel draggers.<br /><br />I use Turbo Tax home/small business edition. Anyone else like TT??

I first used Turbo Tax for '96 return. That year, '96, I got married, sold a condo, bought land and built a house on it. Real dynamic tax year.<br /><br />TT prompted me for information I would never have dreamed of considering looking at. Digging through tax instructions, etc. is incredibly complex imo. I had never used a tax service because my prior returns were fairly strait forward.

Still waiting on 1099's and mortgage and equity line statements. I use tax cut but am thinking about TT. I have no problems with the Fed return but the state return TC just does not seem to do a good job. Missing info and such. Hope to receive things this week and file next.
