Hi guys, looks like my tilt/trim motor on my 1983 70hp Evinrude went caput 
.Since boating season is approaching the end , I would like to finish the season without it, manually raising/lowering the engine. The problem is, since the motor quit with engine in the up position, using the manual release valve, the engine will just go down to the extended trim shaft(trim up position). My question is, how can I lower it completely ?
