WOT 3800 2005 4 stroke 60hp

Have a new new boat with yamaha 60 4 stroke and factory prop of 11-3/4X13 and WOT RPM is only 3800 what could be wrong. The prop does have a little damage to the tips of the blades but nothing severe.

What size/style/weight is the boat? a 13 pitch prop is on the low side unless its on a pontoon boat. What kind of speed are you getting out of the boat, it is possible that the tachometer is B.O. from the factory also.

That 2005 4 stroke 60hp motor requires a 10 3/8 x13 prop
