MICHIGAN WHEEL 992006 VORTEX 3-BLADE PROPELLER
Size: 14" / Rotation: RH / Pitch: 23" is what i currently have for a prop.

Halfway trimmed im hitting around 5000 RPM Which seems high to me so I didn't fully trim it. What would be a better prop for my boat? 18 foot open bow ebbtide. Thanks for the help

I'm wondering if your tach is set on 4-cyl. I'd think a 23 would be a bit much.

Im not sure how to check to see if its set up for a 4 cyl or 6 cyl. I know the previous owner had changed the prop before he sold it to this 23 pitch. He told me that he wasn't sure is the SS prop he had was 19 or 21 pitch. Any help is appreciated.

Most marine tachs have a tiny rotary switch on the back that you set for different motors. You just need a flashlight to see it and a little screwdriver to turn it. Threre'll be a little sticker to tell which position is for what.

Just thinking has the outdrive been replaced with a 4cyl or high altitude gearing?? Just a thought
