Hi all
I have a Sabre Plancraft 17' boat with a Chrysler 100. Anyone know what WOT it is supposed to be cause I have a bent prop and need to replace it but I need advise as I have no idea what im doing? I took her for a run at the weekend and in slightly rough conditions she ran at 40mph with just me in the boat, is this about right or should it go faster???
Thanks

Re: WOT Chrysler???

The main thing to remember is that WOT is a specification of RPM not speed. The dataplate on your motor should say what the WOT RPM range is. It is important to remember that over-propping or under-propping your motor is a bad thing. A quick look in my manual over a range of model years for the Chrysler 100HP states that 4500-5500 is probably what you should be looking for.
