WOT for 1998 250hp johnson oceanrunner

My current set up is a 22' 1984 hydrasport walk around cuddy cabin . I have recently installed a 1998 250hp Johnson 30" shaft. My WOT is currently ranging from 5300 to 5600 depending on load. Am I in the ball park. I posted back in January and I have raised the motor one bolt hole as suggested.<br />last outing I had the following results.<br /><br />5400 rpm<br />40.5 mph

Sounds good. What does your manual call for? You do have a manual???

No Manual purchased motor used, last motor was a merc, Have a manual for that though. LOL
