Just got a 1977 T-156 its got a cool look and line and a trihull. The problem is the floor is shot. Do i look at keeping or not? I am not into it by much. I got the engine off it for the Forester of mine.Pics to follow.

Re: WOW, my 1st Glastron 2

Only you can determine if you should keep & repair it or count the investment as all motor for the forester & let the Glastron & trailer go....

It certainly is repairable, but will take some time, effort & money....

Good luck which ever way you decide...

And you'll get more traffic & help if you ask a PM to move this thread to the restoration forum.... A great deal of the work ahead of you is generally not boat specific & a Century owner may have the answer you need, quickly, if your thread & question is posted in the restoration forum. Look through some of the posts on the restoration forum homepage, and look for Moderator under the Iboats avatar, where your's says Petty Officer 2nd Class. Click on the mod's user name & 'Send a private message' is 1 of the choices. Click that choice, and send them the request to move this to the restoration section.....

Re: WOW, my 1st Glastron 2

BTW: if the trailer is even remotely serviceable, keep it, even if you cut up the Glastron. You might find a better project hull in need of a better trailer. If not, sell the trailer on CL for a few sheckles. If you aren't interested in disposing of the hull, you can give it away as a condition of taking the $50 dollar trailer.

W/out boat, make the trailer more expensive, to cover your costs of disposal.....
