Wrath Of The Eagle

Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages.

The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible).

Quran ( 9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome
Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and,
lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the
wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!)

That's mind-boggling!
I don't think these crazies put much faith ion the Koran tho, because they overlooked the passages about {not killing and avoiding conflicts with one's nieghbor, choosing to feed him instead}, or some such rot (never read the thing, never will).

Re: Wrath of the Eagle

I kinda figured it was too "made-to-order" to be real, and sure enough--upon verification, it didn't verify. Source; Truth or fiction.com

Summary of the eRumor
A verse in the Koran, which happens to correspond to the date of the Attack on America, predicts that "the wrath of the Eagle" would be felt throughout the lands of Allah.

The Truth
This is a hoax.
The quote is not from anywhere in the Koran (or Quran).
Chapter 9 verse 11 actually says "But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and we make the communications clear for a people who know." (M. H. Shakir translation)

Here's another one:

What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 117

What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 119

Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188

What is the center verse in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 118:8

Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for our lives? The next time someone says they would like to find God's perrfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!

Psalms 118:8 (NKJV) "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God at the center of it)?

NP, JG..Me too (before I copy/pasted it, after which,. I checked it out) lol.

But Soulwinner's post is for real, and does check out... Even more profound is the reasearch being done with mathmeticians and code breakers, (who originally were out to debunk the findings of the mathematicians).
Scarey stuff.

If we put that on enough leaflets and drop them on those camel clutching countries we might make them believe it.
I still think its neat as h^%l though
