Wrong Flywheel

OK, so I got my flywheel in today and it looks a little different than mine. The one I received if flat on top and mine is not. Mine you can pull with a flywheel puller, the new one looks like I can only pull it with a harmonic balance puller. I hope I am making since here. My motor is a 120hp and its a 1995 but I just found another site that shows pictures of their flywheels and it looks like mine would be for a 1996 model. I need help, THANKS

Turn it over and see if it matches.It should be the same depth and circumfrence.Or post pics of the old and new.J

I will post picks when I get home. I tried to put it on and seamed like I would have too pound it on. Where as my original slid on with ease, so not sure. My boat says 1995 on the little sticker but its real hard to read so could be a 96.

My guess is that you received an earlier Force flywheel and Your Force has Mercury ignition and flywheel--apples and oranges.

Don't try to force it as you will then not be able to either return or resell it. You mat damage the magnets and the stator.

Photos will show for sure.
