Wrong prop (what year will it fit)?

Hi,
i have a mercury 9.8 yr 1975 i bought a prop that don't fit
it. I like to know what the prop will really fit.The number on the prop is 48-42522-9. the number that is stamped on the side is A 11 -9P L. It has 8 splines in the center hub. The same as my motor but the diameter is to big what year will this prop fit .

it's a 9X9 that fits6,8,9.9, and 9.9 4strokes.
the same size prop to fit your 1975 is a 47922A1 which is a 2-blade.
the 3-bld to replace that is a 87572 in either the A1 or A10.
