Can anyone explain if there is a major difference between the DPS-A, DPS-B, and DPS-B1?

I'm looking to get one of these drives in the 1.95 gear ratio to convert from the XDP drive I currently have. I already have a transom assembly with the inner plate so any of these drives can bolt up. I would like to know which one would work best for my 28' Cruiser.

From my understanding, they are basically the same. The primary difference is that the B series have helical cut prop shaft gears requiring a helical cut propellers.
