Last day here for the year...... figured I can't miss the last sunrise of the year from this vantage point.

I can't get over how tall those stacks are...why they're almost as big as the sun :eek:.................................................................;)

The smoke stacks kind of make it for me, Of course I love electricity, steel, heavy industry and petroleum products. :cool:

I think all the pics are great and would like to know where they were taken ?
No more sunrises for awhile huh ? Interesting.

I was just watching a house on the water for a week......it's right off stamford, ct looking to the south east - the stacks are in long island, ny

They look like these stacks, seen from inside Lloyd Harbor, LI....

Kind of far from Stamford, though.
