y pipe is stuck !

Ok , im trying to replace my transom plate and gimbal housing. well , i got the motor out, now im trying to get the y pipe off. I took out four bolts (alpha 1, merc 228) and it will not budge. I am just making sure im not missing anything before I start putting some force behind this thing. Thank you all for your help, i am trying to beat the rain , so any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Look for the fifth bolt.

Yup, you should have four normal hex head bolts and one allen-style bolt.

found it!! thanks guys , im glad I didnt go into caveman mode and start whacking it with a hammer. I got it off and the flaps are pretty worn out, can i replace those? and was there suppost to be a gasket on the y pipe?

Sure - just buy the right exhaust flappers for your application.

There is a rubber o ring type of gasket. It may be flattened out and hard to see - but it is there and needs to be replaced.
