Yahama Motor Won't Drop Down

My 1995 Yahama model C751LRS tilt and trim will not work. I do hear a click when I press the up and down rocker switch. The motor is rusty. Is there a solenoid I should check? Thanks for any help or ideas.

hello,yes there is a solenoid under your motor cowling,it looks like a starter solenoid,i don't know if your engine has 1 or 2 of them (one for up and one for down) my 225 has only one.if you have a service manual it can walk you thru testing it.Hope this helps.
