Hello All,
I am trying to swap gauges (tach, trim, oil)for a friend and it seems that yahama has changed the wiring on the gauges. the old gauge has 2 plugs with 6 wires and the new has one plug with 4 wires.. The only instructions available are for the dip switches. Does anyone know how to splice in the old harness to the new gauge? ie... Wire diagram..I dont see it worth the money to go and buy a new harness or adapter when you only have a few wires to solder and heat shrink. I did wiring for yrs on USAF fighters so this shoudnt be a problem.. Any help would be greatly appreceiated..
