1995 yamaha C115 two stroke currently on a 1985 16' bayliner. Only numbers i can find on the prop is 17K. Wide open throttle between 5500-5800 rpm. Boat cruises easily at 40 mph. Pulls tubes fine but could use a better hole shot for slalom skiing. Now the question, I will be pulling this motor and installing it on a 19.5 1986 bayliner open bow. I am sure i will need a prop change. There is almost always 6 average size people with us. Boat will be used for tubing and Kneeboarding manly with occasional skiing. After doing some reading on here it looks like I need to drop to a 15 pitch but am unsure. Any advice?

Once on the 19 ft do a lightly loaded wot rpm and gps speed test run remind us of the prop size.
The best way to be sure the setup works right both for selecting the prop and checking the results of the new prop.
