Yamaha 115 (2001) to 130

I would like to know the difference between a 115 hp and a 130 hp and what, if anything, is done to convert a 115 to a 130. This is more out of curiosity than anything.

The cylinder block and heads are different on these engines. Also the carburettors and the upper case are not the same.<br />Buy a 130 it's the easiest way.

In the past the heads and carbs were the only difference. Haven't had a 130 that late a model to take apart. Something else may have changed.
