Anoter obvious but it does happen from time to time. Is the motor in gear? I know my F150 and many other OBs wont start when its in gear.

Otherwise it may not be getting fuel. Check your paper fuel filter on the front motor and make sure you see gas in the glass. Then revove it to make sure it isn't clogged. Alslo check any in line filters such as a fuel/water separator.

Rodbolt is the Yammie Guru here that may be able to give you a better picture.

How many hours do you have on the engine, mine has blown 3 times and it is the same 4 stroke as yours. 2006 model. mine is on a Carolina Skiif 21.8 DLV. You also might wa. nt to check your kill switch. i have alot of boats and stupid crap happens all the time

It does sound like a fuel problem....you could have trash in your in line filter....but i will bet it is like the otehr guy said, your feul tank vent is closed.

You can remove the line going to the carbs, if it is not efi. Run SeaFoam straight into it. It will bog while it blows the BS out. Had the same problem with my 4-poke 40. Best thing to do is that, if ya know you will not use it for awhile, run the gas out, & put seafoam in the gas. It helps everything without eating the gaskets. Be careful, the only mechanic in a bottle I trust is SeaFoam! Jeff
