Yamaha 115 No Power!!

Have a 2003 Yamaha 115 4 stroke.Not getting any power,turn key and nothing happens,tried tilt on side of motor and nothing,put in new battery ,safety switch in place,checked fuses under cowling everything looks ok.Any suggestions would be appreciated,Thanks,Phil

check the cable grounds, use a voltmeter, go between the engine block and the positive terminal on the stater solinoid, if you have battery voltage continue by moving the positive metwer lead to the main relay. if you have battery voltage there continure on the red wire leading to the ign switch. the pan switch is NOT wired with the keyswitch. my guess is a failed connection or main relay. that relay is a sealed unit and about 90 dollars. its located inside the plastic cover just below the fuses. time for a reading session with a service manual. the merc 4 stroke 115 manual is a lot nicer than the yamaha manual. its got better pictures and descriptions. about the major difference in the merc and yam F115 motors of that year was paint color.
