I'm stumped ... any help is appreciated:

1994 Yamaha 130 2stroke

Here's the details ...
The yellow oil warning light on the engine gauge is lit.
After running for some time, the alarm buzzer will sound, engine drops RPMs and the red warning light will be lit. After inspection, I see the oil level in the main tank on the motor is at the lower line (telling me the sensor in the tank on the motor is working). I use the manual override switch on the motor and the oil level in the tank reaches the upper line and the red warning light turns off BUT the yellow stays lit. After running some more, the exact same scenario takes place. The reservoir tank is 3/4+ filled with oil, has a new pump, new filter and new sensor.
What could be the problem? To me, the sensor in the tank on the motor is working since it is alarming under the right conditions. The oil control module is working (??) since the override switch is functioning. The oil reservoir pump is working since using the override, the pump fills the tank on the motor.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Need to go back over your wiring. The boat mounted tank sensor is saying the oil is low. The rest is the normal shut down emergency mode. Check the wiring from the sensor back to the engine.
