yamaha 2 stroke oil ratio..

I just got an older 4 hp 2 stroke yamaha outboard, but I'm not sure the ratio. beach yamaha told me it all depends on the kind of oil you're using..... true? The only specs i have are: 4SG GEO S 096833 ....? I'm not sure the year either. any help?

50:1 if it has the stickers that say 100:1 paint over them, if you follow them youll have a new anchor!

better to err on the side of caution

they used that 100:1 idea to try to appease the emissions freaks.
