Help, I had my motors tuned this winter. Mechanic said compression and everything else was fine. He said he did a
link and sync. I am assuming he adjusted the carb linkages and sync the timing. No parts needed. Engines ran great first
3 fishing trips. On last outing i stopped for fuel on the way in topped off my tank, 40 gallons and as soon as I pulled away
and throttled back to neutral at idle starboard engine stalled. Started right back up. Motored to dock put engine in neutral to turn same motor stalled. Docked boat, added Yamaha lube fuel system/engine cleaner idled motor at 800rpm and pulled
back to neutral and engine died. Engine runs on fast idle and revs ok, what do you think. Port engine runs fine so I don't think it is a fuel problem since they both runs off the same tank. Both motors have new fuel water separators and new filter
before fuel pump. Is there an idle solenoid or a hard stop that sets the idle. Any ideas would be appreciated before I call the marina mechanic to look at it.
Thanks
Dave
