I'm already kicking myself in the head so don't add to my misery please. I changed the battery and put it in backwards, after everything stopped smoking I reversed it. Now I have acc. power but nothing to my motor,volt meter or tach. How bad is it?:
after that is fixed, check the rectifier output, simply check the battery voltage, then start the engines, run about 2000 RPM, voltage should increase by about 1 volt over non running battery voltage.
if its ok, ya got lucky, if not open the ole wallet.
