I think my 25hp has carb problems. I drained the carb bowls, cleaned the fuel filter, added fuel treatment, and added another in line fuel filter. The problem Im having now is it will spit through the exhaust on occasion. It mainly does it when coming back down from high speed. Im thinking the jets may have some trash on them but I really would like to have a service manual before pulling the carbs. Problem is, I cant find one. Suggestions?

Also, there is a small black knob on each carb labeled "A" that has a pointed head(see photo). I thought this may be a air adjustment but not sure. It will only turn a quarter of a round total. What are those knobs?

You need to pull the carbs apart completly and remove all jets and clean them. They black knobs are your mixture screw
