I have Yamaha 40 motor with autolube -95. When I turn the key alarm starts and motor wont take high rpm. Oil light is green and when I move oilsensor it turns light between green, yellow and red. So I think it's working. When I disconnect ground wire from oilsensor, alarms stops. I have also tried to disconnect wires from heat sensor but it didnt stop the alarm.
Owners manual says that there are three different possibilities for alarm to go on.
1.No oil
2.Owerheating
3.Oilfilter clogging
I have cleaned oilfilter/sensor, but that doesnt make any difference. What else can cause this problem?
