Yamaha 40 Autolube - White Smoke

I have a '93 Yamaha 40 Autolube which is gradually producing more and more white smoke, particularly at idle. It starts, idles and runs well and the plugs look fine, any ideas?

Welcome to iboats. <br /><br />A lot of smoking issues seem to revolve around the Brand of oil used. Some make more than others. It seems the cheaper oils smoke more, but that certainly isn't carved in granite.
