Can anyone tell me what kind of economy I should expect from a 2009 Yamaha 60 DET pushing a aluminum 15 ft open mono hull?
Currently I'm getting around 2.7 km per liter which seems a bit thirsty..

Go to: Yamaha Outboard Performance Bulletins and plug in your motor and boat and it'll give you GPH, MPG, MPH for your rig, or pretty darn close. Good Luck!

if you are actually geting 60 hp your fuel consumption should be approx. 23 liters per hour at WOT. If you have a light and fast boat that went 66 kph the resulting kilometers per liter is 3. Your boat likely would get very good fuel consumption results at throttle settings that are much less than 23 lit fuel per hr and my guess is 40 to 45 kph would give these good figures.
