I have a C60 Yamaha on a 17' carolina Skiff. Looking for a pinch more power. My owners manual covers 60 horse thru 90 horse motors.<br />The bore, stroke, displacement, etc. of a C70 is identical to a C60! The only difference (in the manual) is the 60 uses a "choke" for cold starting where the 70 uses a "prime start" system. Does anyone know where the power difference is? Different carbs obviously, but what about some type of restrictor plate, etc.?<br />Any help appreciated!
